I, maid of honor (and awesome), totally RICKROLLED HEATHER'S WEDDING LAST WEEKEND.

It was awesome.

Okay, the bride, groom, and most of the guests had NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED, but that's okay. The bride's brother and I nearly died anyway.

IT WAS AWESOME AND I REGRET NOTHING (other than not introducing Heather to the concept earlier.)

I was going to start this by explaining in minute detail the ways 2008 sucked (hospital visits, et. al) or rocked (hey, hey history!) but I decided the best way to celebrate 2008 is to give it no more attention than it deserves. Though I will say:

After about a day and a half when I was winning, the sickness has rallied and is currently kicking my ass. I haven't taken today's dose of antibiotic, and I'm hoping that'll turn the tide again because I really can't afford to be sick. Went out to PetSmart today and spent a lot of time (and money!) buying things for the kitten. Since purple_dj and quish got all the cat stuff in the divorce, we were basically starting from scratch--although quish did generously offer to give us the kitty fountain, as Toti and Orson are too scared to use it. So, today saw the conclusion to my three-day battle with quish and purple_dj's new fridge. Suffice to say, I wish to hunt down their house's previous owner AND WIPE HIM FROM THE FACE OF THE PLANET.
